On Friday, the Watkins Solicitors team came together for our annual summer party at our North Street office in Bristol.

After a busy few months across the firm, it was a lovely opportunity for colleagues from different teams to spend some time together away from their desks and enjoy an evening in the garden.

The preparations were very much a team effort, with staff helping to get the garden ready, put up bunting and set everything up before everyone arrived. With the weather on our side, the garden at North Street made the perfect setting for the evening.

There was plenty of food and drink to enjoy, including a very welcome jug or two of Pimm’s! Beverley also prepared a fantastic selection of homemade food for everyone, finishing with a particularly impressive banoffee dessert that went down extremely well.

More than anything, the evening was a chance for everyone to relax, catch up and spend time together outside of the usual working day. With colleagues working across different offices, departments and practice areas, occasions like this are a great opportunity to bring everyone together in one place.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped set up, brought things along, prepared food and stayed behind to help clear everything away afterwards. Special thanks to Beverley for all the cooking and for keeping everyone very well fed throughout the evening.

It was a really enjoyable evening and a great way to round off the summer together.
