Watkins Solicitors are pleased to share that our 2026 Charity Quiz Night raised almost £1,700 in support of Next Link Domestic Abuse Services. 

The event took place at The Mount Without in Bristol and brought together colleagues, local businesses, legal professionals, friends and supporters for an evening of fundraising, entertainment and community spirit. Guests enjoyed a seven-round quiz hosted by Managing Partner Beverley Watkins, alongside a Hog Roast, raffle and charity auction, with a fantastic range of prizes generously donated by local businesses and supporters.

The evening once again highlighted the strength of the local community, with attendees from across the legal sector and wider professional community coming together to support an important local cause. We were pleased to welcome attendees from a number of local firms and organisations, including Battrick Clark Solicitors, Queen Square Chambers, Conscious Solutions, Albion Chambers, VWV, St John’s Chambers and PKF Francis Clark.

All proceeds from the event will go directly to Next Link, a charity providing emergency accommodation, crisis support, mental health services, outreach support and long-term advocacy for individuals and families affected by domestic abuse.

A huge well done to all of the teams who took part on the night. Congratulations to Never Gonna Quiz You Up for taking first place, followed by Quiz Square Chambers in second place and Continues to be the Best Team on North Street in third.

The coveted Wooden Spoon award this year went to Conscious Solutions, who took the result in great spirits and helped contribute to the fantastic atmosphere throughout the evening.

A special thank you goes to Natalia and Louise from Next Link for attending and supporting the event on the night. Following the quiz, Next Link shared the following message with the team:
