Watkins Solicitors are pleased to share that we have won three awards at the Bristol Law Society Awards 2025, recognising the commitment our teams show in supporting clients across all areas of the firm. Being recognised in all shortlisted categories reflects the commitment our teams show to the individuals, families and organisations we support every day.

Our award wins include:

• Team of the Year – Education Team
• Rising Star of the Year – Morgan French

The awards ceremony took place on 6 November at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Bristol City Centre and brought together firms and professionals from across Bristol and Bath. It was an incredible evening, and we are proud to have been recognised alongside so many firms and professionals from across the local legal community.

Law Firm of the Year (Regional)
The Watkins Solicitors team continue to grow across Bristol, Bath, Hereford and Evesham, offering specialist support in family law, education law, conveyancing and wills and probate. Over the past year, we have hosted the Domestic Abuse Conference Bristol, maintained our strong SEND appeal outcomes, and expanded our work with community organisations, including close links with community organisations. Earlier this year, our Managing Partner, Beverley Watkins, was also recognised nationally with a Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year award for Family Legal Aid, including Children’s Rights.

Education Team – Team of the Year
Our Education Law team received the award for Team of the Year following another year of exceptional results for families. The team achieved a 97% success rate in SEND appeals and secured specialist education and support for children with a wide range of complex needs. Ranked number one nationally and in the South West for Education Law on ReviewSolicitors, the team continue to work closely with families, schools and support services to ensure children receive the provision they are entitled to.

Rising Star of the Year – Morgan French
Over the past year, Morgan has helped clients navigate a variety of conveyancing matters, resolving urgent issues and maintaining excellent communication with buyers, sellers and agents. Morgan’s compassion and attention to detail have been greatly valued by her clients and colleagues, with many glowing reviews shared online.
