The Watkins Solicitors team are delighted to welcome Solicitor Louise Price to our expanding Family Law team in Hereford.

A proud Hereford local, Louise returns to her home city with a clear focus: to help families through care proceedings and private children matters with clarity, confidence and compassion.

Having previously worked across a number of Hereford firms, Louise now joins Watkins Solicitors as we continue to expand our support for families in the Herefordshire community.

Louise’s previous experience spans a range of sensitive family cases, including early-stage involvement with social services (pre-proceedings), applications for a trusted family member or friend to care for a child (Special Guardianship Orders), protection from domestic abuse (Non-Molestation Orders), and formal Care Proceedings. In every case, she focuses on providing early, clear advice that makes a meaningful difference when families need it most.

Louise is especially passionate about helping families before and after care proceedings begin, recognising it as one of the most pivotal points in a family’s legal journey. At a time that can feel overwhelming and uncertain, she believes that clear guidance and early support can make a meaningful difference and positively shape outcomes for families.

Known for her calm, pragmatic advice, she supports parents facing complex challenges, helping them understand the process and feel heard at every step.

“I am committed to supporting people through some of the most difficult moments in their family life, particularly where safeguarding concerns arise or parents face the possibility of their children being removed from their care. I believe in giving advice that is clear and supportive, while helping clients feel understood. I grew up here, I understand the community, and that connection really matters in family law,” said Louise.

Outside of work, Louise enjoys playing in a local Hereford netball league since 2019 and remains closely involved in local activities and events.
