Watkins Solicitors Team Attend Albion Chambers Inquest Seminar 2026

Members of the Watkins Solicitors team recently attended the Albion Chambers Inquest Seminar 2026 at Bristol Beacon.

The event brought together legal professionals to consider key issues arising in inquest work, including domestic abuse, suicide, care home cases, recent case law and the role of the coroner’s discretion.

The seminar included sessions from Albion Chambers barristers on a range of important and sensitive topics, including The Hidden Homicide: Domestic Abuse, Suicide and the Coroner’s Court, issues in care home cases, a case law update and the coroner’s discretion.

Inquest work can involve some of the most difficult circumstances families face. These cases often require careful legal advice, sensitive support and a clear understanding of the duties of public bodies, healthcare providers, care homes and other organisations involved.

Watkins Solicitors regularly advises individuals and families across a wide range of legal matters, including Family Law, Education Law, Public Law and Human Rights, Conveyancing and Legal Aid. The firm remains committed to ongoing professional development and to supporting clients with clear, specialist and client-focused advice.

We would like to thank Albion Chambers for hosting such an informative seminar and for bringing together practitioners to discuss important issues within inquest law.
