Watkins Solicitors Managing Partner Beverley Watkins Attends the LAPG Annual Conference 2025

Monday 20 October marked the Legal Aid Practitioners Group (LAPG) Annual Conference, held at A&O Shearman in London. The event brought together leading voices from across the legal aid sector to discuss innovation, reform, and the future of access to justice.

Watkins Solicitors’ Managing Partner Beverley Watkins and Senior Associate Yatin Amin attended on behalf of the firm. The day featured keynote speeches from transparency campaigner Gina Miller and updates from the Legal Aid Agency on restoring digital systems following the recent cyber-attack that has affected practitioners nationwide.

Beverley Watkins, chaired the ‘Current Issues in Family Legal Aid’ session, chairing a discussion with Jenny Beck KC (Hon) of Beck Fitzgerald and Lucy Verity of Philcox Gray on recent events and recent changes in Family law.
