A complete range of Divorce Costs
We understand that divorce is a very stressful time and that many clients would like the comfort of receiving advice from a solicitor but are worried about the cost. We understand that you want to know what the costs will be at the start of your divorce.
We have therefore developed a range of packages to meet the level of service you require. There are different packages available depending on whether you intend to issue divorce proceedings (you will be known as the Petitioner) or your spouse intends to or has issued proceedings (you will then be known as theRespondent).
Some clients want personal access to a solicitor and to have face-to-face meetings. Other clients are happy for matters to be dealt with by telephone or email. The services described below do not include dealing with financial matters or with children. If you ask us to deal with these matters they will be charged separately.
Although we are a firm based in Bristol, by using modern technology including email, text messaging and telephones we are able to assist clients throughout England and Wales, plus Clients who live abroad but are getting divorced in the UK

* A court fee of £550 is charged by the court to issue divorce proceedings. You may be eligible for a reduction/exemption depending on your income.
** If there are financial matters arising from your divorce it may be necessary to delay applying for the final stage of the divorce until financial matters are resolved.
We recommend you obtain advice regarding any financial matters and are happy to arrange an appointment for this purpose.
