Watkins Solicitors Wins Conveyancing Firm of the Year - South of England at the Modern Law Conveyancing Awards 2025

Watkins Solicitors is delighted to announce that we have been named Conveyancing Firm of the Year - South of England at the LEAP Modern Law Conveyancing Awards 2025, held on Thursday 20 November at Liverpool’s iconic Rum Warehouse.

This national award recognises the very best in UK conveyancing and is judged against excellence across every stage of the client journey, including exceptional client service, strong introducer relationships, robust risk management, IT and cyber security, staff retention and development and local economic contribution. It is one of the most respected accolades in the UK conveyancing sector.

The judging panel brought together some of the most respected leaders in the sector. Among them were Sheila Kumar, Chief Executive of the Council for Licensed Conveyancers; Michelle O’Shea, Licensed Conveyancer and Chartered Legal Executive; Professor Martin Dixon, Professor of the Law of Real Property at Queens’ College, Cambridge; Nicky Heathcote, Non-Executive Chair of the Conveyancing Association; Sophie Rickards, Senior Product Manager at HM Land Registry; and Richard Hinton, Founder of TwentyConvey. They were joined by a broad panel of experienced judges from across conveyancing, property, training and legal practice.

The evening followed a masquerade theme, with performers and entertainers contributing to a memorable event attended by colleagues from across England and Wales.
