Probate & Estate Administration
It can be overwhelming to lose a loved one and then, following their death, deal with finalising their affairs. This can be an extremely difficult and challenging time for many reasons.
At Watkins, we tailor our service to your needs. We can guide you through and deal with the entire estate administration, or we can provide advice in relation to aspects of the administration that you find difficult or more complex.
Tony and Terrie, in their unique ways, can break down what seems like a daunting undertaking into smaller, more manageable tasks. It is, and will always be, our aim for you to feel less overwhelmed and to settle the administration of your loved one’s estate as soon and as smoothly as possible.
You do not need to instruct a solicitor to deal with the administration of your loved one’s estate, but if you would like one, we are here to help.
Whether you need a Grant of Probate or a Grant of Administration very much depends on whether your loved one left a Will and what assets they owned. It is important for you to note that a Grant is not required in all cases.
Our professional charges are based on our hourly rates and the amount of work that we actually do. We do not charge a percentage of the value of your loved one’s estate.
