Watkins Solicitors is an award-winning and busy solicitors firm specialising in Family Law, Education Law, Wills and Probate Law, Conveyancing, Human Rights and Judicial Review, with branches across Bristol, Bath and Hereford.

The Role

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced part time audio typist to join the firm. You will work from home and be working  with mainly with our family department typing statements, completing Court forms and supporting their administrative and typing needs. For the right candidate we can be flexible regarding working hours; the ideal candidate will be able to work a minimum of 16 hours per week.

#Essential criteria

  • Audio typing experience (minimum one year)
  • A minimum typing speed of 80wpm
  • Excellent spelling and grammar skills
  • An excellent command of oral and the written English language
  • Ability to work to deadlines and understand the importance of doing so
  • Good IT skills and experience using Microsoft programs

Desirable criteria

  • Experience of audio typing in a legal setting
