Emily Mitton
Emily Mitton is a Trainee Solicitor working across the Judicial Review and International Family Law departments at Watkins Solicitors.
Emily brings a wealth of experience from her time at the University of Bristol, where she actively contributed to legal and advocacy initiatives. She volunteered at the Human Rights Implementation Centre, served as a committee member for Lawyers Without Borders, and was the Events Secretary for Women in Law.
Since joining Watkins Solicitors, Emily has been instrumental in assisting with complex cases, including high-profile Hague Convention matters and judicial review proceedings in the High Court. She has also supported cases involving the successful return of children from the care system, demonstrating her commitment to achieving positive outcomes for clients.
Emily holds a Master’s in Law, completed in 2022, and has successfully passed FLK1 of the Solicitors Qualifying Examination in 2024.
